You really are vital for the success of cohousing groups a complete delight, and often a hoot to work with.

About Annie

For over a decade I've helped small residential communities create a sense of belonging among residents who start out as strangers and over time become friends. I'm passionate about creating safe, nurturing residential neighborhoods where people can live fully and create real connections with their neighbors.

During the development process I coach cohousing groups around the country by providing training and collaborating with community members in monthly phone meetings on community building and marketing. From creating a community vision and ground rules to mastering the decision making process and learning to talk about “the hard issues”, I'm with you every step of the way.

I've been responsible for community building for Wonderland Hill Development Company and Cohousing Partners.

As a founder and resident of Silver Sage Village, in Boulder, CO, I experience the joys and challenges daily of living in cohousing. I was a member/founder of two cohousing communities, Wild Sage and Silver Sage Village, one of the first senior cohousing communities in the country.

I hold a BA in Sociology and an MS in Organization Development. I've consulted to non-profit and for-profit organizations throughout the U.S. and abroad in team building, technical problem solving, and leadership development.
